Coworker Reminds Everyone It’s Thursday

“It’s Thursday,” 32-year-old Evan Hadley replied, after his coworker Ashley Mills asked him how it was going.

Twenty minutes later, Mills heard him stop by the office manager’s desk and sigh, “At least it’s Thursday.”

At lunch, Hadley opened his team’s weekly status call the same way he always does, declaiming, “Well, it’s Thursday.” He later ended the call, as is his habit, by reminding everyone it was only “one more day till the weekend.”

Colleagues predict that, tomorrow, the majority of Hadley’s conversations will include the rhetorical question, “TGIF, am I right?”
