Did you spend the last year insisting there’s no difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump?

Do you believe voting is an act of self-expression, rather than a responsibility to your fellow citizens?

Are you starting to think that happy feminists might be better than happy neo-Nazis?

Do you believe the president’s main job is to inspire [Insert Your Name Here] rather than, say, run the world’s most powerful country?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, and you’re feeling kind of shitty about it, you’re not alone.

Dr. Jill Stein’s feeling shitty about it too.

“On one hand, you could vote for me… And that’s as far as I got.”

Dr. Stein, who is a doctor — though not the sort that trusts widely published medical research — is raising money to investigate election results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Jill, M.D. thinks a recount might, maybe, possibly, make Hillary Clinton president instead of Donald Trump.

Sure, it’s incredibly unlikely to yield positive results.

And yes, the Obama administration thinks it’s a bad idea, which means the NSA didn’t find evidence the election was hacked.

But when has something like “evidence” or “likelihood of success” stopped you before?

Now, you could donate to a cause that matters. Maybe climate research. With the new administration’s plan to cut off funding for “politically correct environmental monitoring,” climate scientists could use the money.

But that’s silly. You support the Green party. You care about your personal feelings, not the environment.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make yourself feel better. And, even more importantly, make Dr. Jill Stein (a medical doctor who totally thought Hillary was going to win, so pretending the election didn’t matter wouldn’t matter) feel better.

Who can put a price on that?
