Censorship vs reason
Recently, I Medium-bumped into a writer whose literal prowess awed me enough to stomach wading through her well articulated drivel. Her articles- primarily op-ed’s, would show up on my feed regularly. (I invoked my vast Blocking powers and this is no longer an issue; No, I’m not an echo chamber dweller). Every now and then, I’d click on them just in case I was feeling too jovial that day - and wanted to balance myself out with some depression.
Her pieces usually revolve around demonizing Democrats and anything else that might happen to be remotely associated with them. She does this by dishing out troughs of purulent red meat wrapped in the usual falsehood casing. In other words, she’s a trigger machine..a Rush Limbaugh Mediumite of sorts. I find most jabs from the right quite amusing and inconsequential. This particular writer however, is different. Of course I wouldn’t mention her, but I can’t for the life of me remember her name. My mind is very adept to repressing disturbing memories. Such is the case with multiple childhood chance meetings I had with a whitish gray, misty, floating alien-ghost. He seemed to be fond of hanging out by my grandmother’s cowshed. He’d stare at my shocked, frozen, small figure for a few seconds whenever we’d meet. Without fail, he’d then proceed to dart behind some bushes and out of sight without saying or moaning a single word. I thank him for never haunting me.
It occurs to me that the Liberal’s open mindedness is on a collision course with his very own existence. Some have masticated about Obama’s myriad of concessions to the Right as President. I find that assertion wanting, given the pigheadedness of your average huff-n’-puff Conservative. You have to throw them a bone and not expect anything back. Otherwise you’ll never get anything done.
Here’s my question, just how deep do Conservatives reach in their fat cat bag of tricks to pick out treats for their Leftist counterparts? One thing is for sure, the MSM does tend to lean left. This doesn’t stop the right from compromising it with a trove of conspiracy theories. You’d hope people won’t buy into the crap, but you’d be sorely disappointed. Buying this crap as you all have seen, can have very dire consequences. Tech bigwigs who mostly seem to have a generous helping of common sense (except for Peter Thiel), need to step up to the plate and stump this plague of misinformation out once and for all. I don’t mind constructive Conservative input. I’m just patienced out of the sinister fiction — keep that in your gullible cesspool and leave everyone else the hell off of it. Thanks for playing.
