Hillary Thinks Trump Led The Birther Movement? Wrong Again.
And If You Think Trump Is The Racist, I Got News For You.
First, I want to say the issue of the day, The Birther Movement…again is simply a Democratic distraction from the DNC Leaks, which should be THE real issue.
But since the mainstream and Hillary Clinton are attempting to mislead the public again in regards to the Obama birth certificate, I thought I’d share some of the news from that time to set the record straight.
The first point — No, Hillary Clinton did not officially start the Birther movement but she certainly encouraged it. It was her followers on the left who did start it. Hillary actually let her followers run with it while she did much more to smear Barack Obama at the same time.
That theory first emerged in the spring of 2008, as Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama’s citizenship.
“Barack Obama’s mother was living in Kenya with his Arab-African father late in her pregnancy. She was not allowed to travel by plane then, so Barack Obama was born there and his mother then took him to Hawaii to register his birth,” asserted one chain email that surfaced on the urban legend site Snopes.com in April 2008.
Hillary allowed the fear and doubts about Obama’s birth place fester while she used suggestive racism in her campaign commercials. An article entitled The Red Phone in Black and White ran in The New York Times in 2008 describing Clinton’s use of imagery as being blatantly racist.
I have spent my life studying the pictures and symbols of racism and slavery, and when I saw the Clinton ad’s central image — innocent sleeping children and a mother in the middle of the night at risk of mortal danger — it brought to my mind scenes from the past. I couldn’t help but think of D. W. Griffith’s “Birth of a Nation,” the racist movie epic that helped revive the Ku Klux Klan, with its portrayal of black men lurking in the bushes around white society.

Finally, Hillary Clinton appears, wearing a business suit at 3 a.m., answering the phone. The message: our loved ones are in grave danger and only Mrs. Clinton can save them. An Obama presidency would be dangerous — and not just because of his lack of experience.
Hillary Clinton let slip that Barack Obama spent time in a primarily muslim school. First it was an email leaked by one of her staffers which was quickly denounced:
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama’s expected presidential candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the U.S. from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level — through the President of the United States , one of their own!!!! — Politico
Even while denouncing the email, she continued to play the racism and fear of Muslims cards by releasing the now famous picture of Obama in customary Muslim garb.

David Plouffe, Mr Obama’s campaign manager, said: “On the very day that Senator Clinton is giving a speech about restoring respect for America in the world, her campaign has engaged in the most shameful, offensive, fear-mongering we’ve seen from either party in this election.”
There was actually a GOP Senate candidate, Mike Castle, who defended Obama to an adamant Clinton supporter who believed the U.S. was being infiltrated from the inside by Muslims.
The entire Birther issue was very much a liberal conspiracy. The right didn’t really take interest until much later on when the Rush Limbaughs and the conserative talk radio picked up on it, but that was after the viscious primary battle was over.
At first, Clinton passed blame onto staffers or followers, but as the race got uglier, she realized she had to appeal to the white Americans to offset the black support Obama was getting.
Hillary’s Team Has Questions About Obama’s Muslim Background
Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage?
This was from Debbie Schlussel January 17, 2007. She continued:
This is the question Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s camp is asking about Sen. Barack Obama.
An investigation of Mr. Obama by political opponents within the Democratic Party has discovered that Mr. Obama was raised as a Muslim…

Lastly, it was believed the only reason Hillary and Bill backed away from questioning Obama’s past was the perception of racism — she had no choice. She began referring to Obama as a son of Africa instead. Many of the Birthers took this as a sort of code suggesting that though she backed away, she still didn’t trust Obama. Essentially, many believed she remained a closet Birther and Islamophobe.
Was she saying this all over Africa to suggest “son of Africa” in the most generic sense, i. e. his race, or was she distinguishing Obama from the overwhelming majority of Americans of African descent who first became natural born citizens “as the sons and daughters of slaves.”
Today’s attack by Hillary Clinton and the media on Donald Trump for his press conference turned media stunt (I loved that simply because it pissed the media off to no end) where he officially ended the Birther controersy — in his belief anyway — stating definitively Barack Obama was born in the United States, was a desperate attempt to distract from her sinking polls — and the DNC Leaks.
Not only was it desperate, it was hypocritical. For all her attempts to portray Donald Trump as a racist, the truth is, Hillary and Bill Clinton have played and manipulated the race card to their advantage since their days in Arkansas.
Aside from the many books written by various people close to the Clintons, including a childhood friend turned lover of Bill’s, all of whom have documented examples of racial slurs and discrimination in their lives, the one story that sticks in my craw is the story of Ricky Ray Rector.

In 1993, Marshall Frady wrote an essay in The New Yorker recounting Bill Clinton’s time as Senator of Arkansas detailing how, after trailing in the New Hampshire primary in 1992, he flew home to make a public display of the execution of a prisoner named Ricky Ray Rector.
Rector was a black man who, after committing a double murder, attempted suicide. Unfortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful and it left him permanently brain damaged and sitting on death row.
His injuries also left Rector without the ability to appreciate the gravity of his crimes. Senator Bill Clinton saw an opportunity to raise his approval ratings in the polls by appearing as the candidate tough on crime.
The execution of the severely disabled man, who told the guards who had come to escort him to his execution, he was saving his pecan pie from his last meal for later, did not sit well with the prison staff or anybody who knew the full story. The prison chaplain later resigned over the ugliness of what appeared to be a Senator executing a disabled African American man to further his political career.
