Bulwark 2.1.0 (Mandatory Update)
Bulwark 2.1.0 is required for wallets, masternodes, staking servers, and secure home nodes. The protocol enforcement spork will become active in roughly 2 weeks. The Bulwark team will monitor progress and provide the community with updates on the transition to Bulwark 2.1.0.

Bulwark 2.1.0 focuses on enhancing user experience overall. This update gathers the entire masternode creation process into a neat user interface that beginner users can follow. We’ve also optimized the proposal creation process using a similar interface to allow anybody the option to create their own budgets, making it easier for our funding to be truly decentralized, community led, and without the barrier of the CLI.
The network will also undergo improvements at the consensus level:
- Incremented active node protocol version for the next release.
- Implemented new coin staking requirements at the consensus level that will be activated via Spork. New requirements will ensure that stakes meet the 12hr requirement before being valid for staking.
- Change finalization fee for budget proposals from 50 BWK to 5 BWK.
Bulwark 2.1.0.0 is a mandatory update to address bugs and introduce enhancements that require a network protocol change. Download now.
