Being picked

Funniest yet thought provoking conversations are not conversed by scholars but by ordinary people. Overheard an aged couple conversing in the supermarket counter.

Though it was funny, the simple conversation between the husband and wife had multiple layers to it. It talks about love, marriage, capitalism, dowry, male chauvinism and feminism!

Here it goes:

Husband: Were you buying groceries from here all the time? They make you pick everything and over charge you, cheaters.

Wife: I think this always happens in my life. I picked you to marry and ended up paying more dowry than you deserve.
