Time to HODL BUMP
One thing we’ve learnt from the horrors taking place in Ukraine, is that even nation states are susceptible to volatility. The Russian ruble dropped over 40% and Ukraine’s currency lost nearly 10% of its value. Crypto’s notorious fluctuations have persisted, a surprise despite a market cap well in excess of $1.5trn.
Time then for a universal solution that will protect people’s assets and preserve their hard-earned wealth. Bumper is that solution. Battle-tested in Agent Based Modelling and now being coded at a blistering pace, Bumper intends to rewrite the rule book on volatility.
If you have BUMP, you will need to HODL BUMP, so you can use it to protect your assets when the protocol launches. Let’s us repeat… You NEED BUMP to protect stuff! If you have it, then volatility won’t know what happened to it.

We’re in that last 20% as everything starts to come together (you know, the one that makes up 80% of the effort…) across all streams (Design, Web3, Web2 and Simulation).
The last two weeks have been tough for a number of our team who are based in the Ukraine, and progress slowed significantly in both Design and Web2 streams. We are happy to report however we are back to full capacity in some of those areas and so far everyone is safe.
Also, please note that several contracts will be paused on 16 March for maintenance for several hours.
Farming Epoch #10
A bit of miserable update on this one. Yearn produced a negative for the two weeks so there was no reward yield to be distributed. Massive bummer, we know, but it seems like the DeFi stable coin market is about as excited as a Goth at a line dancing shindig.
HR
We’ve gained some very interesting insights into our potential candidates with our continued system of recruitment. Utilising headhunting and behavioural testing to not only select the best candidate for us but to better assess that Bumper is the right company for them. We expect to make our first major hires in the next couple of weeks. Definitely taking longer than expected but the labour market is definitely a seller’s market!
Staking Expiry
If you bought staked tokens through Tokensoft or locked up for 3 months staking when ‘Quickening’ was released then your tokens will soon be unlocked.
To re-stake your tokens simply go to the dApp and in the Staking section you’ll be able to renew. If you don’t then your tokens remain in the protocol but not earning anything.
Likewise, if you feel your time with the Staking contract is over then head there and simply withdraw your BUMP tokens.…
Obviously we’d love for you to stick with staking as the more BUMP you can get, the more you’ll be able to use to protect your assets later. Have we mentioned that before…?

We’ve now started booking ourselves into some of the top crypto conferences around the world. As well as being keen to start introducing Bumper to the cryptoverse we’re also looking forward to meeting up with our community. We’ve picked a few that we’ll have a presence at and will let you know when and where we’ll be if you’re attending.
