Community Engagement:
During our Office Hours, community members asked questions directly. Chris expressed appreciation for the new meeting format and emphasised the importance of communication during quieter market times.
Justin inquired about the language used on the site, suggesting it could use an overhaul. An overhaul is planned for Q1 2025, depending on user adoption rates.
Concerns were raised about the protocol’s visibility and adoption rates. Team members addressed inquiries about user engagement strategies, including potential educational resources and improvements to the dAPP experience.
The main focus currently is on increasing users and getting the Arbitrum community involved. Once a web3 platform is built, to be sustainable, it has to have users. We’ve been excited by the steady adoption of the beta version of Bumper, but to keep improving, we need to grow our user base to make the platform financially viable.
We’ll be doing this in Q4 with our Arbitrum grants initiative to upgrade the analytics and increase TVL, along with wider partnerships within the Arbitrum community, a new ambassador program relaunch, and a learn-to-earn partnership program to increase awareness about Bumper in web3. Akasha covered all these in the conversation.
The next Discord call will include potential rewards and POAPs as part of the upcoming Ambassador program campaign (news to come), and we’ll also roll out an additional Twitter Spaces for monthly engagement too (likely to be in the morning UTC to catch the opposite time zones).
If you have ideas for partnerships or integrations you think Bumper should pursue, especially within the Arbitrum community, please share them in Discord. The more you can do to share your wins and successes with the web3 world, the stronger we will grow.
Updates on Sam: Sam has completed the primary design work and will be called upon when further design work is required. Sam remains a part of the Bumper project but is currently pursuing personal projects and having some much-needed time off. We have all the technical capabilities required at this stage of the Bumper project.
Thanks for being part of our community! If you have further questions or ideas, feel free to reach out in Discord! 💬
