We are making a new step towards better user and developer experiences. We are introducing a separate blog for developers, bunq Developers’ Corner.

bunq Developers’ Corner is going to be the place where we will publish the following types of content:

• API-related updates and announcements
• Useful articles about our API
• Tutorials, including those written during the bunq API tutorial contest

API tutorial contest participants will be invited to bunq Update 11

In case you missed it, we have launched an API tutorial contest ✍‎‍💻. The rules are as simple as this:

• write a tutorial with actionable advice on using our API that fellow developers can apply in their own projects;
• win up to €300;
• get invited to bunq Update 11 and celebrate the grand upgrade of the bunq app with us!

Here’s how it works step-by-step, in detail:

By June 28, 2019

1. You submit your topic.
2. We review the topic.
3. We add you as a Writer to our Medium developer page.
4. You draft the tutorial on Medium.

By June 30, 2019

1. You are invited to bunq Update 11.
2. We publish the tutorial. You will be featured as the author of your article.
3. The community reads and evaluates your article.
4. We calculate the popularity of your article based on the Medium metrics. The popularity formula we are going to use is the following:

Popularity score = Views + (Reads * 5) + (Fans * 10)

1. We announce the winners.
2. The winners get the prize.
