Going forward, no matter the speed, is still progress.
Persistence, Patience, Progress
Some days I feel like I’m just treading water and nothing is progressing. It’s during these moments when it’s so important for me to look at how far I’ve come.
Progress can be slow but it’s still progress. I found myself doubting my online business ventures and I wondered if I should continue. Creating things to sell and opening an online store is easy. Getting eyeballs on your store is a completely different challenge.
It’s easy to get caught up in negative thinking when you feel like life has stagnated.
The affirmation I chose this week is a version of a joke I read earlier this week. It said, “If you fall forward and land on your face, you still moved forward.” At first I laughed at the joke but then it made me think a bit. Yes, I have tried and failed, but I learned from it. That was a step forward, because no life lesson is ever a step back.
