Focus, Failure, Forward

My weekly affirmations are lessons and reminders to myself. I write these because I feel that I need the pep talk. I hope that the message resonates with someone else.

My biggest fear is failure. I’m not alone of course. No one likes to fail however it happens. How we deal with it is the difference.

I’ve tried really hard to be consistent in the past few years, because I believe it leads to discipline. Even if something doesn’t quite work out how I originally planned it, at least I tried, learned and can move on.

Even in failure consistency is key. I don’t mean that you must consistently fail. What I mean is that you consistently learn from them. Learn from your successes too. Then refine your success so that you can repeat them.

Focus on what you have control over and then move forward.

Consistency Leads to Discipline

I have a routine. I wake up early and turn my computer on. I glance at the list on my desk and get started. By the last sip of my second cup of coffee, it’s about 6am, I’ve ticked a few things off my list.
