A woman has turned to the media and police to say her son needs protection from his wife. She alleges that her daughter-in-law is forcing her to marry the accused mother-in-law and live with them. The woman, who fled Uttar Pradesh and now lives in Delhi, says her daughters-in-law keeps demanding physical proximity and pressures her to marry them.
The daughter-in-law’s insistence on marrying her and living together has made the woman uncomfortable. She claims that her sons’ marriages did not go well, and the strange demands from her daughters-in-law have been increasing daily. She does not want to stay with her husband anymore and desires to live with her accused mother-in-law. She accuses her daughters-in-law of neglecting their husbands and suggests that they could live separately and visit occasionally.
This matter has also been brought to the notice of relatives of the in-laws. They knew it. In addition, the relative’s daughters-in-law say that it is the woman’s duty, as their son’s wife, to take care of their household. Not only that, but the relative’s daughters-in-law also accuse the woman of demanding 20 million as compensation.
