last few years, industries of different vectors have seen inclusion in innumerable startups. These startups have come up with new ideas and innovations that have been outsmarted the traditional methods of marketing, infrastructure, healthcare, marketing, and many more.

Everything was progressing as foreseen but by the end of 2019, the world faced a downfall. In December 2019, a pandemic hit the world. A deadly virus that emerged in Wuhan, China has currently reached almost all the remote parts of the world hitting the major cities along its way.

WORK FROM HOME DONE BY BURPIANS

The increasing number of deaths startled everyone. As the virus is contagious, people are scared to step out of their homes. The world went under quarantine and nations across the globe stated a full closure i.e. total lockdown. All emergency supplies were delivered at their doorstep.

The cause of the COVID19 was found to be the intake of the uncooked bats- that’s what sources said. The pandemic around the world affected the businesses to a greater extent. This has caused the economy of the world to abate.

Business owners all over the globe transformed their business from offline to online promoting the work from home culture or being said right-working remotely.

It was a hard step for startups as employees of the organization were not habitual to the environment. It became an issue for organizations at the initial stages but with no other productive option left, it became the last savior for businesses.

Today, we are going to know about one of the startups of digital marketing that have gained the attention of clients worldwide.

BrandBurp- a Digital Marketing Organization based out of Noida, India has gained popularity worldwide due to its immense services that they deliver. Additionally, they are driving great results for their clients and are actively working during this pandemic.

A question arises how are Burpians managing the work from culture?

But before diving into that, let’s clear out a fact first.

Who are Burpians?

Naming the team is quite a common trend which is followed by many organizations nowadays. It can be considered similar to keeping the name of your team in a field match.

Burpians are the employees of BrandBurp- that’s how they refer to themselves. The CEO of BrandBurp considers each Burpian as a part of the family and takes them as pearls who are floating deep into the pool of digital marketing.

When the time comes for motivating the team, it’s always said: “We are Burpians and we can burp out louder”. It might sound absurd but it works at the moment. They are the main reason for the growth of the organization.

They understood the situation of remotely working and pledged to work efficiently in these hard times since no employee wanted their months of hard work to dissolve in vain.

1. Internet connectivity

Every employee either working from rural, suburban, or urban areas were given clear instructions to maintain a stable internet connection during the work hours. It was a major thing as most R&D is done with the help of the internet. All the updates can be shared and received in real-time only when you’re connected to the internet.

2. Accessibility to the communication medium

Accessibility to the communication medium was another major thing. As everyone needed a remote system to work on. Communication medium such as skype calls is considered to be a priority. An employee should always be reachable under any circumstances. If not, a prior mail needs to be dropped to the company’s management.

3. Scheduled timings

A complete 8:30 hours of work-time should be logged in and completed by every employee. The employees were habitual of working and didn’t find any issue in that. The Burpians followed the same work-schedule which resulted to be as one of the most effective methods in delivering the right output.

4. Daily report

The Burpians followed the same schedule, they were asked to send their daily work report. The daily work report included all the KRA and the tasks have to be shared with the rest of the team members to maintain clear flow and paced up the flow of work.

5. Remote access

Remote access of all the employees was taken into account and it was uniquely distributed hierarchically. It made work easier as it spared the top person from an extra burden.

Conclusion:

Working from home does not give much output as working regularly in the organization. But the startups are working hard and have now been equipped with the right methods which are helping them to maintain a great flow of work and deliver great outputs.
