WASHINGTON DC, BUSA — Yesterday the congressional elections were held. The BUSA Herald offered special coverage of the elections yesterday, offering projections. The Herald was the only media outlet to report minute-by-minute coverage of the election, with the help of FEC Chairman Mark West.

There were 11 seats available in the House of Representatives and 3 in the Senate.

In the Senate, 2 Democrats and 1 AKIP won. Farfan Ahsan received the most votes. Ryan Butera received only 10 votes.

The House of Representatives was also won by the Democrats (again). Although 11 seats were available, only 10 candidates (7 Democrats and 3 AKIPs) ran.

Leor Harrison did not receive any votes, but as there were more seats than candidates, he was elected. He later posted a tweet announcing his withdrawal from the 6th congress.

I am withdrawing my candidacy for the BUSA’s sixth congress effective immediately. I don’t believe that just because there weren’t enough people to fill Congress, I should be in a position that people did not elect me to. Thank you.

— Rep. Leor Harrison

The AKIP party is growing considerably compared to the previous elections.

Familiar faces return for this 6th congress: Donovan Moore and Alora E. Cromwell. Both were representatives, but they left the Congress to work with President Trump. Moore was vice president and Cromwell Secretary of State. Now they are back.

A new stage is opening in the Bloxburg United States Congress, which legislation will be approved and which will not? Follow the BUSA Herald.
