Performance and Bug Fixes
Like we always say, we love it when our community speaks to us. They spoke, we listened. A few performance bugs were detected in our app and our developers worked tirelessly to get them fixed. Whoop whoop!
Improved Account Verification Flow
We have also added an improved account verification flow on the app. You can now easily upload your ID and proof of address for verification. Moving from one level to another is now easier and better. Remember that these verifications we do are standard procedures simply to secure you and our systems from fraudsters.
BVN Verification
We have had a few members of our community ask why we require the BVN verification process. Your BVN is your Bank Verification Number, a unique number which can be used to identify you. It was introduced as a means to help curb fraud and illicit transactions happening in Nigeria. When we verify your BVN on the Busha platform, we do so using a third-party app hence we do not store your data on our systems. You have nothing to fear.
But if you are not totally cool with verifying with your BVN, you can use any valid ID approved by the government. Simply follow the well-detailed steps on the app to upload your ID. You would need to wait a few minutes for the ID to be verified.

BCHSV, which is short for “Bitcoin Cash Satoshi Vision” was created in December, during the contentious hard fork of bitcoin cash when it got split into bitcoin cash ABC and bitcoin cash Satoshi Vision. BCHSV is under massive attack from the crypto world after Craig Wright claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.
Exchanges such as Binance and Kraken that currently list BCHSV have declared that they will be delisting it from their exchanges effective immediately. Other exchanges are swiftly following suit claiming that until Craig Wright is able to prove he is really Satoshi Nakamoto, they will not list BCHSV on their exchange.
