Novak Djokovic won his 16th grand slam title in a fierce final versus Roger Federer at Wimbledon 2019 in London. He (Novak) against all odds and defying the spectators (who were chanting Federer) beat the tournament’s favourite to get his fifth Wimbledon title. He’s established himself as a force to be reckoned with despite the Federer vs Nadal rivalry — the greatest in the history of tennis. He may never win our hearts as Federer and Nadal have, but he’s definitely earned our respect.
Much like the way cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) has proven time and again that it is a force that must be reckoned with — against all odds. It has come to cause a disruption in the way the world thinks about money. The Libra project was in the hot seat last week during a US Senate banking committee hearing and we saw that some senators are beginning to come to the light.
