It has been a minute, did you miss us as much as we have missed you? It has been an eventful 2020; Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are still booming after a dip earlier in the year caused by the novel COVID-19.
Also, “The Halving” happened last month and it was an exciting moment for all of us in the crypto space.
Here’s a break down of the what we’ve had going on in the past months:
We’ve introduced “Send via B-tag” which allows you send cryptocurrency to another user with just their username! Cool right? All you need to do is search for the receiver’s username and hit send! Note that sending via B-tag only works between two Busha users so tell everyone you know to join the #BushaTrain. To use this feature, please visit the account section of the app to set your preferred username.
We have added support for Bech32(Segwit) address. This means you can now send bitcoin to bitcoin addresses that start with “bc1”.
We still have a referral program where you and your friend can get N250 when your friend buys N5000 worth of cryptocurrency when they sign up for the first time.
You may notice that we changed wallet addresses. This was due to an upgrade on our platform and majorly to improve customer experience. We are still committed to offering the best service. The old wallet addresses are still valid. We advise that you try as much as possible to use the new address for your transactions. However, where you can’t or didn’t, and your coins are sent to the old address, you’ll still get the value.
