How to mint a Daitō

How to use the Public Mint
Mint via the website
Visit the website any time between 10am EST on Thursday, December 16th and 10am EST on Tuesday, December 21st. You’ll be immediately prompted to connect your wallet. Do that.
Enter your Bushido ID. If you are minting more than one, make sure to separate them with a comma (ex. 2345,145,178), then click “Mint now.” Complete the transaction in your wallet and you’re done!
Fun fact: Did you know that we’ve made implementations that will help Daitō minters save big on gas fees?
If you’ve purchased a Bushido during the minting window, you can also cross-check if it’s been used already for a Daitō (check one Bushido ID at a time). Each Bushido can only be used once for a Daitō.
Note: if gas fees are in the thousands or higher, it’s likely because there is not enough ETH in your wallet to cover gas or you are inputting bad data. Do not confirm the transaction. Add more ETH to your wallet and try again. If the issue persists, reach out on Discord for help.
How to mint Daitōs from Etherscan
For savvy minters
- Click “Write Contract.”
- Connect your wallet.
- Input Bushido IDs in box 3 and click “Write.”
- Note: this will work only once mint is live.
Day of the Daitō
Event Details
- During this window, *Bushido holders* will be able to mint Daitōs (swords) for free. You just pay gas.
- 8 different Daitōs. Each with its own name, design, and rarity.
- One Daitō per Bushido (not per user).
- Each Daitō will be given at random and will not be related to your Bushido rank.
- Once the minting window closes, unclaimed Daitōs will be lost forever.
- Daitōs will be revealed on December 22nd, a day after the minting window closes.
- Heading into Season 2, those who hold a Bushido and a Daitō will be able to burn both NFTs and become a Ronin (first come, first serve). You just pay gas. This “Seppuku” event will be the opener to Season 2 in Q1. It’ll limit the supply of Bushidos and introduce a new and limited character class. More details to come soon.
