Unlocking the Power of Business Analysts in Cloud Computing Transformation
When looking up at the clouds in the sky, have you ever wondered what it’s like to live among them? Is it soft, comfortable, or perhaps dangerous? When I was a little kid, I used to dream about it.
Now in the era of cloud computing, it appears that the dream may come true, albeit in a different form.
There’s no disputing that cloud technology is advancing along various pathways. So what is it all about?
Clouds, as a natural phenomenon, form when water vapor rises due to heat. They not only bring shade as they move, but also gather in large quantities to bring rainfall.
And the ‘cloud’ in cloud computing refers to a massive resource pool that allows for resource mobility and large-capacity data storage. As for ‘computing,’ it is a simpler and more straightforward concept. Cloud computing provides computing capabilities and information services to various application systems.
As organisations increasingly prioritise cloud transformation, it becomes imperative to recognise the valuable contributions that a business analyst can bring to this process. Business analysts should also be well-prepared for and possess a thorough understanding of the transformation journey.
