What is a portfolio?

A professional portfolio is a collection of professional artifacts created by you and intended to present your skills and competencies and to highlight your accomplishments and strengths.

It can be a presentation, a website, a platform profile page, or anything in between. For me as an author, a consultant and a speaker, it is my website — I need lots of space. In my old life as a business analyst, I had a blue binder with printouts, but I would opt for an online portfolio today, and I will show you why if you keep reading.
