Barclays Africa Group Limited and Beyonic partner to deliver cashless payment solutions to corporate and GDO customers.

November 2017 - Kampala,Uganda — Beyonic is pleased to announce a fin-tech partnership with Barclays Africa Group Limited.

Through this partnership, Beyonic will provide our mobile payment delivery solutions to Barclays Africa’s large development customers and corporate customers across sub-Saharan Africa; enabling them to deliver payments to mobile money networks. Barclays Africa and Beyonic will also enable integrations with customers' payment systems.

Barclays Africa Group Limited is an innovation leader across the continent, and has already engaged Beyonic through Rise, the global Fintech community created by Barclays. Through this program, Barclays seeks to identify and partner with fin-tech entrepreneurs and innovators to develop and scale unique solutions that push business forward.

Together, Barclays Africa and Beyonic will add significant value to their mutual customers' operations by reducing the costs and risks associated with cash management & by leveraging the growing number of mobile money networks across Africa. Together, we will also explore collaboration on Global Development Organization (GDO) projects across the continent.

The first customers are expected to go-live in Uganda in Q1 2018.
