The Unappreciated Service Workers

If there is ever an undervalued or unappreciated worker, it is the service workers who even through the 2020 pandemic showed us how much they were needed!

Whether you are an employee or a contractor, your work is very beneficial, despite the respect you get on a day-to-day basis.

The service worker, who includes, but is not limited to the cashier, delivery driver, waiter/waitress, cleaner, contractor, postal worker, police, assembly line workers, nurse, and I could go on…is often looked upon as less because of their servitude job title.

Many think that if you are in this position, it is because of lack of experience or education. They don’t stop to think that every job is important to make our country thrive.

Imagine if you didn’t receive mail or couldn’t get served at a restaurant. How about if you went to the hospital but had no nurse? Another one that’s a “no brainer” …imagine if there were no cleaners to clean facilities. Would you enjoy the luxury of a so called “Luxury Hotel” or “Luxury Apartment”?

If your electrical power went out today, you would need a service worker to come and fix the problem, wouldn’t you? Or…what if your house caught on fire?
