Startup success story #2
The day I met Ahmed, I knew this small talk will be insightful. He was so much impressed by the on-demand doctors’ app that he wanted to build one for his city as well.
He was unsure about the concept because other apps like MDLive and Lemonaid were already there as a competitor. My team explained to him how he can make his app unique with some amazing features which were missing in the existing apps.
We added features like:
- Finger Print Scanner + Face Detection for the privacy of patients data
- Heart Rate Real-Time
- Stress level Detection
- Online Sessions (video calling)
- EHR Integration
- In-App Chat
He was excited to launch the app ASAP. Within a week we were already brainstorming the logo and development model of the application.
The app took 14 months to get to the market once the app was launched it got more than 750 users ( patients and doctors) in the first month.

Startup tip # 2
Sometimes all we need is to believe in our idea. It doesn’t matter if the idea already exists or it is popular in other places. You can still add new features to make it stand out.
