Introducing: the Challenge Fund

We are pleased to introduce you to the Business Integrity Initiative Challenge Fund in a partnership between the UK Department for International Development Business Integrity Initiative and IMC Worldwide.

The £250,000 fund is supporting business-focused Collective Action Initiatives which aim to reduce corruption or promote human rights to improve the investment climate in emerging markets and developing countries.

In late-2019 we undertook a call for proposals and were amazed by the levels of response, receiving 23 applications for over £2 million of funding across 25 countries.

Despite receiving many very strong applications, only three projects could be chosen to take forward over the next 12 months. We are really excited about the three projects though and are looking forward to the year ahead.

This Medium will be the place that we share more information about the chosen projects, their journey and their successes over the next year.
