How to Sell Real Estate on Roku — Two Ways.

Video listings are hot. During a recent search for new digs, I discovered more than half of the listings I viewed had a video element, and that got me to thinking… Why not create a Real Estate channel for Roku and Connected TV platforms? So I did a quick search and discovered there already is one.

But here’s what there isn’t… (yet).

  1. Roku Channels for Real Estate Professionals

It’s no secret I believe Connected TV channels are “the new website,” and as proof I can show you the growing number of major brands making the move to Connected TV. Everyone is going video and with Roku leading the pack so far as Connected TV devices go, it makes perfect sense that it’s the best place to start.

A Real Estate Channel is one thing, but with a national and worldwide audience, it makes better sense to have individual Roku and Connected TV channels for specific regions or real estate offices and franchises. Viewers looking for a home in, say, Miami, are more apt to view the Century 21 Miami channel than they are a general real estate channel. (I’m just using Century 21 as an example.)

For less than $5,000, a local or regional real estate office or franchise can launch a custom “branded” channel featuring all of their video listings in one place, accessible the world over — to more than 100 million viewers worldwide, with about 90% of them from right here in the U.S. — a fresh, new market not otherwise reachable through other media, online and off—…
