Meet a Member: Celine Chen

Celine is our City Lead for Munich and has been part of our BoP community since June of 2020. In the community, she is also a Circle Lead for our #circle_students. By leading this circle, she aims to empower the student community to create a business world based on sustainability, well-being, and fairness by connecting like-minded individuals. She’s a Communication Sciences and Psychology student and strives to make the world a better place working at IDEACT; a brand consulting agency based near Munich, Germany. She specializes in the advisory of purpose-driven, meaningful and sustainable business.

This is how purpose shaped Celine’s personal life and career path:

“To make the world a better place somehow” is one of my personal purposes and motivation. Being able to combine it with my job and my professional life fulfills me and really makes working enjoyable.

Here’s her advice about how to find purposeful and meaningful work:

“Doing meaningful work allows you to give back instead of only taking — not only to the world or the society but also yourself. Very important to exchange with like-minded people because it is truly inspiring to grow together.”
