Meet a Member: Megan Sayers

Megan joined the BoP community last month. She is the Creative Director at Make Good Design, a creative partnership on a mission to empower the brands that are doing good in the world. With more than 15 years of experience in product design and illustration, Megan uses her skills to create beautiful brands, websites, and visual content at Make Good Design. Since its creation in 2020, she has helped purpose-centered businesses and organizations achieve their goals. What makes Megan’s approach to business stand out is her use of brand design and visual storytelling in her work to encourage and help people do good things.

This is how Megan describes her purpose:

“During my career as a designer, I’ve become increasingly aware of the power we, as designers have, in influencing people’s behaviour. It seems the more money you have, the more money you can spend on designs to manipulate people into giving you more money. I’ve become tired of using my skills as a designer to do that — to make the rich richer.

So my business partner and I formed Make Good Design in October 2020. Together we focus on using the power of design to make good things happen in the world.”

When asked about her reason for joining the community, this is what she had to say:

“It sounds like your members are doing some great thinking and I’d love to be able to learn from them.”
