Paraphrase:

The number of travelers going through Orlando, which used to be a small town over four decades ago, is more than the other cities in Florida.

Summary:

Orlando has become popular since the setting up of many theme attractions surrounding the town. However, the growing number of travelers did not bring the development expected to the businesses in town. On the contrary, it caused serious traffic congestion and other problems related to tourism.

Synthesizing:

Orlando was a small town that was founded in 1844 but has now become one of the top tourist spots due to several reasons.

First, in 1880 the railroad was built and then in 1950 the cape Canaveral space complex was established; which led to Orlando becoming more prosperous than before. In 1971, with the opening of Disneyland, this area experienced a boom.

After that, many hotels and theme attractions were built in surrounding areas and were the ones to directly benefit from the business. Orlando, in contrast, did not and experienced traffic congestion with the many tourists passing through.

Just like the saying goes, “For every plus there is a minus.” The residents of Orlando faced changes that influenced them in varying degrees.
