Comparative Report on Airline Companies: China Airlines and Eva Air

Introduction

This report is commissioned by the ITI administration with the purpose of comparing two qualified airline companies, China Airlines and Eva Air, so as to provide ITI students useful information for their internship.

China Airlines

China Airlines, which was founded 59 years ago, is the largest airline company in Taiwan. It provides more routes and cheaper prices than Eva Air, and customers are served traditional Taiwanese cuisine during the flight. According to the survey conducted on flight security, China Airlines is ranked 90th, which is behind Eva Air. However, customer satisfaction with China Airlines is higher than that of Eva Air.

Eva Air

Eva Air is a newer company and has a good reputation ranking in the 9th place for flight security. The route paths are however less and the cost is higher than that of China Airlines. However, it provides both Taiwanese cuisine and many other cuisine options for their customers.
