Exploring Trading Partnerships in UAE

The purpose of this report is to provide an update on the business trip to UAE.

Firstly, the visit to HGA headquarters in Dubai, which is an oil pipeline company, went really well because they placed a large order for components. Secondly, the rescheduled meeting with Doruk in Muscat to discuss the trade fair in Bahrain next month went successfully, even though the flight was delayed. Thirdly, the meeting with Asif Trading Co. which is a company that manufactures and sells machine components in Kuwait City went quite well. The generators market is new to them but they are very enthusiastic about it, as they want to expand into this market. Lastly, the visit with Raysut Electronics in Al-Khiran Pearl City did not go well because of the terms of the agreement.

On this trip, the visits on our list were successful and the purpose of the meetings were fulfilled. I would suggest that keeping in touch with HGA and Asif Trading Co.would be worthwhile for expanding our market in the Middle East and working out to find a more flexible agreement with Raysut Electronics.
