Progress Report on Recruiting Software Developers

This report aims to provide a progress update on the recruitment process started last month.

The recruitment team was asked to identify five talented software developers with varying levels of experience by the end of next month.

After carefully discussing the requirements with the software department, we were able to create an appropriate job description in the very first week. Shortly, hundreds of resumes were sent to our company and qualified candidates were informed to come to our office for the selection rounds that included aptitude tests and personal interviews. According to our original schedule, the selection rounds should have been completed by the end of the second month. However, we haven’t yet finished on account of a high influx of applications.

It is believed that candidates will be shortlisted by the end of next week and the date of the final interview will be decided on after receiving a confirmation from the software development manager. In spite of the one-week delay, the recruitment team will still be able to meet the set deadline.
