Progress Report on Visiting the UAE Region
This report aims to provide an update on the business trip to the UAE region, so as to find future business partners.
First, HGA in Dubai is an oil pipeline company and not a supplier, but are willing to place a large order for components with us. Second, although the inclement weather caused a two-hour delay in my flight, the meeting with Doruk to discuss the trade fair in Bahrain next month went smoothly. Third, in order to seek more opportunities, we flew to Kuwait and had a great meeting with Asif Trading Co.. They manufacture and sells machine parts, and have a strong interest in cooperating with us to expand into the generator market. Finally, the meeting with our supplier, Raysut Electronics in Al-Khiran Perl city, was not positive because they wanted to adjust the payment terms from 90 days to 45 days.
In conclusion, it was felt the majority of our meetings in the UAE region went successfully. It is proposed that a cooperation with HGA and a partnership with Asif Trading Co. will greatly benefit our company. Apart from this, we could carefully reconsider the terms put forward to Raysut Electronics or vet for new suppliers.
