This report was prepared by the Marketing Department on November 23. It reviews information about customer behavior, and its findings are based on our customers’ responses to a questionnaire. In the questionnaire, our customers were asked to fill in how they came to know of our products.

It was found that 70% of our customers got the information on the Internet, and more than half of these were from Facebook. It is worth noting that less than 3% of our customers got the information from a TV commercial.

The top 5 media that caught our customers’ attention include the following:

1. 36% of our customers got the information from a post on Facebook.

2. 13% of our customers got the information while watching YouTube.

3. 12% of our customers were attracted by a billboard.

4. 10% of our customers saw our advertisement while surfing an online shopping platform.

5. 9% of our customers bought our products because of peer recommendation.

In this study, the investigation of the performance of our advertisements shows that although online advertising has had the most effect on our customers, there are still some positive outcomes from our non-internet ads, such as billboards and peer recommendation.

To sum up, before restructuring the marketing budget for the next year, I strongly recommend the following two suggestions:

1. Focus on the top 5 media that contributed most to our revenue this year.

2. Channel the amount budgeted for TV commercials to another form of advertising.
