This report was prepared by the Personnel Department on November 13. It shows current employee satisfaction with the Lloyds’ catering service, and the findings are based on the data collected from 500 employee questionnaires.

It was found that 80% of the employees are satisfied with the catering service, and of these 20% are very satisfied. Of the remaining 20%, 5% expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the catering service. Moreover, it was discovered that some specific problems were repeatedly mentioned by the respondents.

The top 5 specific problems that were mentioned are as follows:

1. 25% of the employees complained that our canteen closed after 3pm.

2. 20% of the employees criticized the quality of the coffee.

3. 15% of the employees mentioned that there were few vegetarian options.

4. 15% of the employees were disappointed that there was no halal food provided in the canteen.

5. 5% of the employees were dissatisfied with the seating arrangement in the canteen.

In general, this report indicates a high level of satisfaction with the catering service. However, there is still room for improvement. Factors associated with dissatisfaction are consolidated into three aspects: business hours, diversification of food, and the space utilization for the seats. Therefore, I recommend we take the following steps:

1. Investigate the dinner demand of employees to decide whether to extend its offering hours.

2. Provide a variety of dishes that include vegetarian options and halal food so as to run the business within budget.

3. Purchase new coffee beans to provide better coffee quality.

4. Redesign the seating in the canteen to optimize the utilization of space.
