Report on the Current Employee Satisfaction with Lloyd’s Catering Service

Terms of reference:

This report was prepared on behalf of the employees’ Welfare Committee on November 11th, and takes into account their overall satisfaction with Lloyds’ catering service.

Findings:

After conducting a survey, the following results were found:

1. 11% of the employees felt unsatisfied with Lloyds’ catering service and 3% of the employees expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the catering service.

2. Most employees complained about the canteen closing after 3 pm and the poor quality of coffee.

3. Some employees think the canteen have limited vegetarian options and no provision for halal food.

4. A small percentage of people feel the seating in the canteen is uncomfortable.

Conclusions and recommendations:

In general, the result of the survey highlights that Lloyd’s Catering Service is considered acceptable.

I recommend we take the following steps to improve the situation.

1. Extend the canteen business hours after 3 pm for employees.

2. An intensive training course be conducted for the coffee barista.

3. Obtain the halal food certificate so it may be displayed and include more vegetarian food options on the menu.

4. Replace all the old seats in the canteen in order to provide a better dining environment for our employees

It is concluded that the current employee satisfaction with Lloyd's catering service will continue to progress in the future.
