Setting Up a New Coffee Shop in the Science Park

This report aims to analyze the factors related to setting up a new coffee shop in Hsinchu Science Park.

The first factor is that many people like to discuss business in coffee shops and there are only a few coffee shops in Science Park, so a great volume of potential customers can be excepted. Second, the space selected is in a prime location near the main road in Science Park, therefore making it easy for our customers to access. Last but not least, a large number of engineers work overtime and are in need of coffee to refresh themselves or the relaxing environment of a coffee shop to de-stress.

However, the rent in the Science Park may cut into our profit margin and should be taken into consideration. Perhaps this can be solved by providing special promotions to earn more profit. Based on the above findings, it is felt that setting up a coffee shop in the Hsinchu Science Park will fulfill our key requirements and be profitable for the company.
