The graphs show the changes in temperatures of France and the Netherlands between the period 1850 to the present.

France

Compared to 1850, in 1890, there was a sharp fall in temperature and reached the lowest point,12c, 20years later, it returned to its original level. Then, it fluctuated between 12.5c to 13.2 in the following 60 years. Since 1980, the temperature increased from 12.9c to 14c because of industrialization, and reached the highest point in 2005. However, it has slightly declined since 2006.

The Netherlands

At 1850, the temperature went up from 9c to 9.4c, but then sharply fell to 8.8c reaching its lowest point in 1890. After the temperature returned to 9.5c in 1900, it began to fluctuate between 9.5c to 10c in the following 80 years. Due to global warming it quickly increased from 9.3c to 11c after 1980, and reached the highest point in 2005. However, it has slightly dropped by 0.3c since 2006.

In general, the trends in temperature have been rising by over 1c. Both of them reached the highest point in 2005. It is reckoned that the temperature will keep increasing in the future if we don’t regulate carbon dioxide emissions.
