BusRight has expanded across 19 states and grew revenue 6x in the last year. To fuel the company’s growth, we welcomed several new team members, advisors, and investors as we continue diligently working to empower those at the front lines of our nation’s largest mass transit system, school buses.

Despite the challenging macroeconomic environment, students need to get to school every day. School district’s across the country are continuously investing in the tooling necessary to safely & efficiently transport these students. BusRight has set out to solve these challenges by combining an intuitive mobility platform coupled with concierge-level customer support to enable student transportation leaders as they mobilize over 26 million students to and from school daily. BusRight is hiring a Support Engineer, Account Executive, and Front-end Engineer to support our growing user base, team, and mission.

These three roles mean more to us than the words on each job description, and we wanted to capture the value of these future hires by having current team members share why they are excited to collaborate with these soon-to-be BusRighters.

Support Engineer 🏗

Student transportation leaders are underserved and under-appreciated. This includes the transportation directors, routers, dispatchers, drivers, and everyone who makes the wheels on the bus go round. They power the backbone of our K12 system & economy more broadly, yet most people don’t know that school districts have an entire transportation department with incredible people operating it. Our BusRight Concierge approach is our first step in delivering an exceptional customer support experience that our industry deserves. The Support Engineer will work closely with our engineering and customer success teams to scale our personalized concierge approach. Below are a few videos from Riley (Support Operations Specialist) and James (Full Stack Engineer) explaining why they are excited to partner with this role soon!

“This Support Engineer will have a huge part in engaging with our nation’s unsung heroes.” — Riley

“When you speak with our customers, you can really tell just how much they appreciate the work we do and you get the sense that BusRight is improving their lives.” — James

Nothing feels better than hearing how BusRight is positively impacting our users, and this Support Engineer role will enable us to scale these outcomes and feelings to communities nationwide:

“On days like today when you have 7 out of 17 bus drivers absent, thank God we have BusRight to keep track of everyone and get our students home safely.” — Armando, Transportation Manager at Phoenix Schools

“I truly appreciate all your dedication from your team to make things work for us. It truly feels like a family. Best thing we ever did :)” — Shonia, Transportation Director for Kimberly School District

“BusRight’s customer service is exceptional and unlike most other companies I’ve ever worked with. For example, I had a couple of issues with how the tablet was dealing with my flag lots, and the next thing I know, Keith and Neil are knocking on my door to go for a ride with me to see exactly what it was doing, then they developed the software fix. How many other companies would do that?” — Don, Transportation Director at Washington Township Schools

Account Executive 📈

We’re looking to welcome our 2nd Account Executive to join BusRight’s growing sales team. You’ll work closely with our Senior Account Executive, Sales Virtual Assistant, & myself to craft sales strategies, attend conferences, and close new business. With additional resources from our Seed financing round, we’re eager to support our AE — which includes mentorship access to our world-class investors and advisors who span the likes of Ubiquity Ventures, Underscore VC, Long Journey Ventures, the founder of Kayak, CTO of Quizlet, the CEO of AngelList Venture, and more. Below are a few videos from Nyesha (Sales Virtual Assistant) and Marty (Senior Account Executive) sharing their excitement about building a high-performing and energetic sales team with you!

“I’ll be with you every step of the way to ensure your workflow is set up for success!”

“As an Account Executive at BusRight, your days will be filled with unique conversations with our customers, strategic planning with team members, and supporting with product direction to help drive new business.”

Front-end Engineer 🖌

First impressions make a big difference. The front-end experience of BusRight is the first impression of our technology ecosystem with new users. In an industry that has had to rely on pen & paper or antiquated technology to manage complex transportation operations, a beautifully and intuitively designed front-end goes a long way. Below are a few videos from Suzanne (Product Designer) and Neil (Head of Operations & Customer Success) sharing their appreciation for well-designed user experiences and their excitement to work with you!

“I’m super excited to work with you, and as a designer, I know we’ll have many opportunities to collaborate. Whether that’s dissecting UI or conversing with customers to assess their needs, I know our work will improve the user experience.”

“Our customers and student transportation leaders have such deep expertise in this space, and your technical talent and skills are going to bring their vision to life and drive this industry forward.”

If you can’t tell, we’re all about fueling others at BusRight. Whether it be fellow team members, customers, or investors, everyone has their own unique journey, and we’re here to accelerate yours.

If you’re interested in any of the roles above or in BusRight’s mission more broadly, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at keith@busright.com. Thanks in advance for your interest in safely mobilizing our nation’s future 🚌
