In Search of… the PERFECT E-mail App

Since the beginning of the year, I have been looking for a better e-mail client outside of the native iOS Mail App, and with the continuous growth of the App Store more and more e-mail clients are popping up on the scene. Personally I have tested out 3 different clients and I have been able to make a decision based on my wants and needs.

1. Spark

Spark’s email clients is beautifully designed and focuses on showing you what is the most important things in your inbox. However, what one deems as important varies from individual to individual.

2. Polymail App

One of my favorite e-mail clients would have to be Polymail. I’m not a big fan of the visual design but the added features of being able to know when your e-mail is read by a client gives you an edge. Polymail is able to pull user information such as their social media profiles and company affiliation. The biggest issue that I had with this e-mail client is how long it takes to fetch and push e-mail to the client server itself.

3. Inbox

Last October, I made the full plunge into Google. I have always had google suite but I only used it for the e-mail aspect. Having google business and being able to have Unlimited Storage ultimately pushed me to using Google for all cloud based uses. The Inbox app works with the newly design Google Calendar as well as every other google app to create seamless integration.

I also enjoy how Inbox categorizes after it learns over time which e-mails are important based on the user.

In Conclusion, Google has won over my heart with cloud storage, calendar organization, and now through their e-mail app client as well.
