Today, lots of ideas are wasted because only the ones picked by internet giants are brought to live, and only the widely adopted ones succeed. What a waste! How can we create a world that can make the most of the huge potential?
Butterfly economy is here to create a world where people do not need power and money to bring their ideas to live, so that any small idea can impact the world. Furthermore, people easily learn and adapt successful behaviour from each other without depending on platforms, programming or advertising.
To enable Butterfly economy, we create a decentralized network that enables users to turn their behaviour and ideas into services instantly with internet protocols which they like or they create by themselves.
The most importantly, the network makes these protocols compatible, so that when a user adapts some protocol, he can still communicate and interact with people using different one.
One of the bottlenecks in the current situation is platforms. With the network, we can get rid of middlemen, and also both centralized and decentralized platforms. Platforms have limited ability of fulfilling users’ needs and slow down technology progress, because it is hard to develop, change business models or governance, and shape their products perfectly to ever changing demand.
If I decide to use a different platform with better services, I can’t communicate with users of the previous platform anymore.
In the network, users adapt the protocols and write their own rules to users’ personal space to let others know what a services and interactions they support. The network works as a common language of decentralization that enables these users to understand each other’s services and adapt successful ones with a single click, and without platforms. We can also imagine the network as a decentralized “standards consortium” that enables everybody to define, vote for and adapt standards.
As a result, it enables two users not even registered at any platforms to understand each other, interact, use each other’s services, learn and adapt successful behaviour of other users. These two users are still independent entities, using the best protocols, rules and services of their own choice.
Butterfly economy is absolutely flexible compared to current economy. With Butterfly economy, individuals, companies, systems and internet as a whole can adjust to actual demand in real time.
