Buying.com is on a mission to create efficiency and solve the largest problems within the e-commerce industry. With a growing number of products and solutions, we are improving everyday scenarios in innovative ways for all types of businesses and restaurants. Let’s take a look at three use cases that best illustrate the Buying.com ecosystem.

Use Case #1

Tech giant Sanyo is offering a special deal on 55-inch televisions. They list it on our WeBuy app with a minimum order quantity of 100 units. Traditionally, very few small retailers would be capable of buying 100 of these televisions at once and meeting the minimum order quantity for the deal — it’s either just too large a purchase or there’s no guarantee that they’d be able to resell that many TVs. But with Buying.com’s decentralized WeBuy app, multiple small retailers can now pool their resources and participate in tandem to meet the minimum order quantity requirements of the deal without having to purchase all 100 units on their own. Once the minimum order level is reached, the Buying.com platform springs into action.

As always, we must discuss the functionality of the BUY token in this scenario. When consumers and small businesses participate in a deal on the WeBuy platform, they will make their purchases in $BUY token. This is a powerful use case for the token because we see the value of the token growing exponentially with the successful use of the Buying.com e-commerce app and site.

Use Case #2

Restaurants everywhere often work with multiple aggregators such as Uber Eats or GrubHub, to accept orders. While this is often a convenient way to market and make sales, it also means that restaurants are required to work with each of these aggregators’ own dedicated devices. This means that many restaurant managers are juggling multiple tablets or point of sale devices. Buying.com however, solves this issue with its on-demand delivery system.

The Buying.com on-demand delivery system is a point of sale terminal that combines all the software from the largest aggregators — UberEats, GrubHub, DoorDash, Postmates — into one simple control center. Now restaurants are able to access all of their orders in one single place. But that’s not all. In addition to consolidating order information, Buying’s system gives restaurants on-demand access to drivers 24/7, which means that at the touch of a button, a manager can have an order delivered locally by a Buying driver within our decentralized system of ride-share drivers. What’s more, the on-demand system tracks and monitors drivers in real time, providing two-way communication between the driver and the restaurant, while our live admins monitor every single delivery night and day.

One final and important feature of the on-demand system is its integration with the $BUY token. Users of the system will pay their monthly subscription fees in $BUY, easily and conveniently, converting directly from US coin to $BUY tokens via an internal fiat on ramp.

Use Case #3

Printer company HP is about to launch the next generation model of a new desktop printer. While exciting for consumers, it means there will be natural devaluation of the company’s prior generation model. As a result, HP wants to liquidate some of these prior generation items before the launch forces the price to go down. In this use case, HP will contact a distributor who will then contact Buying.com to host a large-scale promotion of the item through our direct-to-consumer WeBuy pricing app. Similar to the above use case, consumers and small retailers will then have the opportunity to jump at the offer until all orders meet the deal’s minimum order quantity requirement. Once again, a common disparity among small sellers and large retailers is now solved by giving the smaller players equal access to wholesale pricing, which they previously did not have. This works to level the playing field in an e-commerce industry that’s notoriously controlled by big business.

In Conclusion

As you can see from these use cases, Buying.com is solving long-standing problems within the e-commerce industry with its line of decentralized products and network of delivery capabilities. Inevitably, as these use cases continue to expand, so will the value of the $BUY token and the company. As a team, we look forward to continuing along our roadmap and sharing these advancements with you.
