February, they say, is the month of love. We readers don’t really need any excuse to read a good book, but because Valentine’s Day is round the corner, here is a list of five recent time romances that you should read.

WHEN OUR WORLDS COLLIDE BY ANIESHA BRAHMA

There’s something very believable, innocent and pure about Aniesha Brahma’s story-telling and writing. When Our Worlds Collide is a very beautiful and cute novella about the journey of Akriti and Zayn. Once their worlds collide, the story is suddenly packed with love, life, friendship and everything in between; making it a fun and wonderful read. A very relatable read, this one is bound to leave you smiling.

WHERE THE RAINBOW ENDS BY ANURAG ANAND

Sticking to the Indian romance writing scene, Anurag Anand’s Where the Rainbow Ends is a very unconventional and thoroughly enjoyable and beautiful read about finding love once all hope is lost. This isn’t exactly your idea of a “happy” love book, but its depth, sadness and seriousness make it meaningful, wise and oh so beautiful. This gem demands to be read.

THE BEAUTIFUL DISASTER SERIES BY JAMIE MCGUIRE

People either love or hate the Beautiful Disaster series by Jamie McGuire. The three books about the first couple Abby and Travis- Beautiful Disaster, Walking Disaster and A Beautiful Wedding- are the best books in the series because they’re so fun and unique. While the story is a dysfunctional romance, what most readers fail to realize is that it’s about friendship and unconditional love, about anything else; and it will make you fall in love.

THE BLOCKED SERIES BY JENNIFER LANE

We usually read about politics, sports and romances in the newspaper, but imagine having a book that brings the three fields together to paint a super fun, exciting and lovely picture? That’s the Blocked series summarized for you. With Blocked, Aced and Spiked, we have stories about the three children of the President of the USA and every story is not just a romance, it’s about sports, politics and also some important issue that ensures that the reader ends up learning something.

ARISTOTLE AND DANTE DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE

Benjamin Alire Saenz’s book is a slow burn romance that is so worth it in the end because it is one of the most adorable books ever written. Aristotle and Dante are two intelligent, smart but lost boys who, when they come together, just make everything better and the ups and downs they go through, bring them closer and it’s hard to say goodbye to these amazing boys once the book ends. This is the most amazing read of recent times!

There you have it, folks! Make sure you read one or all of these books because they really are lovely reads that will leave you feeling warm nice and who doesn’t love that feeling?
