BUZZcoin team swarms to a new Discord server
On June 13th the BUZZcoin™ Discord server was hijacked, accelerating our time table for relocation to a brand new, fully featured hive.

At BUZZcoin, we take the security of our members very seriously. For the safety of our community and our project, a move to a new server was planned. The server where we all met was still owned by the original creator who abandoned the project last year. And this owner still had administration privileges that he could assign to anyone he pleased.
We had reached out to him numerous times, with no response. However, last week he chose to give a non-Core member administration privileges that superseded our own team. Without going into detail, this user wanted to bring on other administrators. The Core team took immediate action to relocate our BUZZfam to our new discord server.
While it was a bit stressful to make an unscheduled relocation, the move could not have come at a better time. We are quickly approaching the next phase of our roadmap. With the news that will be announced as soon as the Core Upgrade is released, we are expecting that the interest in our project will gain momentum and increase our BUZZfam quickly.

With ownership of the new server the team has been able to add features that were not available to them before. This includes bots that can filter spam posts, warn users who are breaking the rules, give market updates, display blockchain status, and much more.
We’ve got new features, new channels and everyone is very eager for the upcoming upgrade. All the bans have been lifted, unless the person was a gross offender. We and our BUZZcoin family would like to suggest that Discord change its policy of server ownership. At the moment, transferral is only possible if the current owner has not logged on for 3 months, and only then does it get transferred to the next admin on the server. A simple check to see who has been running the server, and what the project is would be a better indicator of the groups rightful ownership.
