API Support for Moonbeam and Moonriver
We have emphasized since the beginning that one of our goals, as a company, is to support the development of new initiatives that we feel can have a meaningful contribution to the adoption of blockchain technology. Therefore, you have seen a lot of announcements about us creating strong partnerships with up and coming projects and helping with their API infrastructure needs.
We strongly believe that Moonriver and Moonbeam are great examples of such projects and we started supporting them early on, by hosting Collators to secure their Network. Now, we are taking this partnership further, by including them among the supported networks in our Decentralized API Platform.
Therefore, by accessing our MVP at app.bwarelabs.com, you will be able to create fully-fledged RPC and WSS endpoints for Moonriver Mainnet and Moonbase Alpha.
Developers will have the possibility to build and test their Moonbeam dApps using our APIs. Given the EVM compatible properties of the network, any code that was previously deployed on Ethereum can also work on Moonbeam and Moonriver with minimal changes. For beginners, you can follow these docs and this video as a starting point for how to make the best out of your Bware Labs endpoints for Moonbeam.
Our endpoints can also be used directly in your MetaMask wallet through RPC. The Web Socket endpoints can be added in the Polkadot.js GUI interface to interact with the network, to participate in governance and to manage your account keys. As with our other supported networks, you can generate and use your endpoints, for free at the moment, but there is a rate-limit in place of 25 req/second. Once the full release will become available, targeted for September 2021, you will be able to scale your dApps and choose from multiple subscription tiers, and benefit from guaranteed performance and reliability for your endpoints.
About Moonbeam
Moonbeam is an Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform on the Polkadot network that makes it easy to build natively interoperable applications. This Ethereum compatibility allows developers to deploy existing Solidity smart contracts and DApp frontends to Moonbeam with minimal changes. As a parachain on the Polkadot network, Moonbeam will benefit from the shared security of the Polkadot relay chain and integrations with other chains that are connected to Polkadot. Currently in active development by PureStake, Moonbeam is expected to reach MainNet by late 2021.

Moonriver is a companion network to Moonbeam and provides a permanently incentivized canary network. New code ships to Moonriver first, where it can be tested and verified under real economic conditions. Once proven, the same code ships to Moonbeam on Polkadot.
