Rainy April came with showers and abundance here at Bware Labs, as we close another month of disrupting the current blockchain infrastructure landscape. Ranging from new strategic partnerships, community updates, and new developments for blockchain ecosystems, life never got and never gets boring at Web3’s one-stop shop.

Bware Labs — April Updates

Maybe the most attention-grabbing aspect of April at Bware Labs was the design and deployment of the Aptos Delegated Staking mechanism, proposed and built by our mechanics here at Bware Labs through AIP-6. With a substantial involvement in the Aptos ecosystem which ranges from validator services to decentralized API support and a free-to-use Snapshot service, we recognized the need to provide the Aptos community with a delegation mechanism that would lower barriers for new validators joining the network and allow token holders to participate in the protocol by staking their assets and earning rewards.

April saw an exciting development in the Bware Labs Ambassador Program, as the first hires from the program have been onboarded in our team! We’re constantly on the lookout for individuals who share our values and passion for standing out and building on, and we’re proud to say that these two individuals embody everything that Bware Labs stands for.

New milestones were reached during April: we’ve reached over 40.000 rebels who joined our cause on Twitter! Thank you for all those who have been with us since the beginning of this ginormous journey and a very warm Welcome to the Gang to all the riders who have jumped on the ride just recently!

Our mechanics were hard at work on our validator services as well last month. April brought two new validators set up and deployed for Archway and Injective and a new collator release for Picasso Network, Composable Finance’s canary network!

As a dev-centric company, it is vital for us to ensure that our partnerships are made in the direction of enhancing the blockchain space and the development experience. In April we announced a new strategic partnership with Itheum, a decentralized, cross-chain data brokerage platform. Itheum will employ Blast API’s multi-chain solution as a means for enabling smooth look-up and aggregation processes of on-chain user data across all Itheum protocol’s data and identity solutions. As an integral element of the Itheum protocol, our cooperation promises to provide Web3 users with one of the industry’s most dependable and quick decentralized infrastructure services.

Blast API was also subject to many new integrations and opportunities during the 4th month of 2023. The first new network to join the platform during April was Scroll. Scroll is a zkEVM-based zkRollup on Ethereum that enables native compatibility for existing Ethereum applications and tools. The ultimate objective of Scroll is to reach the same degrees of decentralization and censorship resilience as base layer Ethereum.

Beginning of April had Blast API integrating Base, Coinbase’s L2 Network. The developers building on Base can streamline their work by utilizing Blast as their primary API platform. Leveraging Blast’s user-friendly interface and comprehensive documentation, Base builders can easily generate custom API endpoints with minimal effort.

Metis is the latest network to join the lineup of chains accessible through our flagship product. We build another stone on the path to widespread adoption with the integration of Metis into Blast API, given that our efforts align with Metis’ goal of propelling dApps, Businesses, and Communities (the ABC of blockchain) into their ultimate form: boundless.

The gang was also present at a couple of blockchain events during this month. The first one to be joined was the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023!

Later on, we took the stage at Consensus 2023, where our friends at Supra Oracles invited us as speakers during MoveCon by MoveDAO, live-streamed during Consensus 2023!

Last but definitely not least, in the wake of the long-awaited launch of the $INFRA token, new information has been released regarding the tokenomics and staking pool mechanism. $INFRA is set to be the fuel revving up the Blast Protocol. By staking $INFRA you participate in our work of empowering developers through the reliable and lightning-fast infrastructure offered by Blast API.

You can now find information on the vesting schedule, the valuation and various other details on the $INFRA economic model. $INFRA will have a limited supply. The fully diluted $INFRA supply will be 100M. No more, no less. All the investors, advisors and the team will have a 1 year cliff and between 1.5 and 3 years vesting.

April was a full month — that is for sure. And for our Web3 mechanics, a full schedule means a time full of innovation and #BUIDLing. And, yes, we’re on the verge of announcing a major development for our one-stop shop. Keep your notifications on and your 👀 on us!
