Bware Labs — August Update
You know where this is going, don’t you? August has been all about Houston Testnet for our blockchain API Platform, Blast.
We started with a few select partners in the first phase, named Launch, open enrollment for the general public to onboard in our second phase, called Orbit, which will start in September, and are now preparing for the third and final phase, called Landing. If the names aren’t cool enough, you should be wowed by our end goal: decentralizing the underlying infrastructure of Blast, all while maintaining the current level of performance and reliability.
This is all possible thanks to our carefully crafted technical solutions, which allow for geographically distributed clustering, and optimized request routing. The high-end integrity protocol and performance scoring algorithm will be the base for our reward distribution mechanism, which will split rewards between node providers based on their performance and good behavior. The route we’ve taken will truly make Blast a Web3 Development powerhouse, providing the needed response times and data integrity, with the added benefit of decentralization. Once this goal is achieved and we move to mainnet, Blast will bring API end-users and node-providers closer together, in a financially beneficial way for both camps and simultaneously promoting Web3 principles and streamlining development and adoption.
That sounds like a lot of accomplishments for a short month, right? Well, we didn’t stop there. Aside from working on decentralization, we’re permanently focused on improving our multi-chain attribute and expanded the list of supported networks in Blast to include Palm.
Moreover, our trusted delegators can now stake their $BLD to our Agoric validator, which increased our lineup to 19 reliable and profitable validators.
