Bware Labs Month in Review — August
Check out the latest news, fresh releases, and fruitful collaborations that marked the end of summer here at Bware Labs!
We’re running out of heat stroke puns here at Bware Labs because, lo and behold, August has not let us down in terms of ludicrously high temperatures. So, instead, let’s just say that no matter the climate, the Web3 mechanics will always keep pushing towards new heights in blockchain infrastructure and tooling!
BWARE LABS
August began with the Web3 mechanics joining the Zetachain testnet, leveraging their skill and know-how in sync with ZetaChain’s purpose of solving the problems of “cross-chain” and “multi-chain”.
We are also Node Operators for Bitscrunch, partnering up with them towards allowing developers to build reliable NFT dApps!
In the vein of partnerships, we’ve joined forces with Itheum during their Trailblazer Data NFT Competition!
We’ve also partnered up with Tortuga Finance as their first FIRST delegation pool partners. As core contributors to the Aptos ecosystem, our collaboration with Tortuga Finance is a natural development, aligning with their purpose of being one of the only places where you can stake APT!
The Web3 mechanics have joined the Avail Testnet, working alongside Avail to bring Web3 scalability to the point where blockchain seamlessly integrates into people’s lives!
Bware Labs is also part of Router Protocol’s Mandara gamified Testnet, playing a major part in building a future-proof interoperable infrastructure alongside Router!
In terms of releases and services, the Injective Faucet joins the club of ecosystem tools brought by Bware Labs in order to ease up blockchain access and the development process. Builders can Start experimenting with the Injective ecosystem and get their test tokens with the dedicated Injective Faucet!
As part of our long-standing collaboration with Covalent, we are now Refinder Node Operators on Covalent’s CQT Network! Covalent’s Refiner is a tool meant to transform data access, empowering devs to shape and customize blockchain data to fit their ideas and visions. The Refiner bridges the gap between raw data and innovation.
BLAST API
August brought about Dashboard V2 in Blast API’s Consumer App. Dashboard V2 came as a major update for builders who use Blast API as their primary node provider. With the enhanced dashboard in the Consumer App, Blast users can now monitor their overall API consumption, observe and compare trends month by month, checkout method usage by chain, as well as their request success rate!
You can now join the Blast API story as a Node Operator for Aptos Network or delegate your $INFRA to one of the newly formed Aptos Staking Pools, with the new open slots on Blast API for Aptos Network nodes. By allowing node operators from the Aptos ecosystem to run their nodes, Blast is adding another achievement towards solving Web3 reliability and performance issues in a decentralized ecosystem.
Given our significant involvement in the Scroll ecosystem, it should come as no surprise that network support for Scroll’s Sepolia Testnet was added to Blast API since day one. Testnets like Sepolia provide an economically friendly and seamless developer experience when developing dApps, allowing builders to easily test and iterate on a production-like environment.
Equalizer Finance is the latest project to join the lineup of Web3 initiatives relying on the robustness and security of Blast API!
The Blast Delegation Program has officially started, with the first batch of delegations being sent out to node operators. We have created the Blast Foundation Delegation Program, with the aim of providing the necessary incentives for our partners to keep up the outstanding level of performance they have demonstrated so far!
We have integrated MEV protection in collaboration with Meow RPC and Kolibrio! With the surge of MEV in 2021, blockchains are now at risk of network congestion and high gas prices for everyone else trying to run regular transactions. With the integration of MeowRPC, developers using Blast API now get frontrunning protection on Ethereum and BNB as well as potential cashback!
Last but definitely not least, we have announced the establishment of the Blast Ecosystem Fund. The purpose behind the fund is to further decentralize the platform by providing incentivization to extend our partner network and node distribution, as well as increasing platform security and capabilities through grants and bug bounty programs.
