Fans want to hear directly from their favorite stars. Stars want to speak directly to fans. Social media has proven this.

The 2,000+ athletes, creators, and influencers in Cycle, our global media network, have massive followings across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. But of late, many of them have been yearning for an additional destination where they can share longer, deeper thoughts. That’s why we created The Cycle.

On The Cycle, you will find authentic, first-person POVs from the top athletes and influencers. Sometimes the creator will dictate their story to us to transcribe, sometimes they’ll write it, sometimes we’ll write it with them; it’s up to the talent. Sometimes the grammar will be Oxford proper, sometimes it’ll reflect how people actually speak; it’s up to the talent. We only care that each post is truly authentic to its creator.

You probably won’t see retirement poems on The Cycle. There will never be display, banner or pre-roll ads on here. We aren’t monetizing this publication. Our talents’ social channels deliver three billion views per month, which provides plenty of scale to distribute the content we create. And our Facebook page is gradually becoming an important part of our strategy, with several videos in the past couple months getting love from the algorithm and hitting 1M+ views.

We are thrilled to be able to leverage Medium’s slick technology to provide our athletes and influencers a new place to connect with their communities. We look forward to your feedback.
