Creating Art

Art is a human act, a generous contribution, something that might not work, and it is intended to change the recipient for the better, often causing a connection to happen.
-Seth Godin

This morning I made coffee, cooked breakfast, started my car and drove to work. I parked, grabbed my belongings and headed in. I headed to my desk and took a breath.

I’m here because today I get to create art.

I have the opportunity to show up, be emotionally invested, and create something that matters. I have been afforded the significance to make a real and unique difference where I’m at.

From the outside, it may look pretty average. But from the inside, it’s anything but average. And the difference is investment and attitude, or emotional investment.

Have you shown up to create art or to check notifications?
