We’re living turbulent times due to the new coronavirus outbreak. Thankfully, the Portuguese ecosystem has been working non-stop to provide help to the citizens and healthcare professionals via initiatives such as tech4COVID19.

One of the startups working to fight the shortage of hospital equipment is eSolidar, a social impact platform that unites organizations and communities, offering easy-to-use tools to raise funds and boost the visibility or non-profit organizations and respective groups.

eSolidar will promote auctions in strict partnership with the Portuguese Football Federation, the music festival Rock in Rio and the painter Carolina Piteira. In total, there will be more than 10 auctions and 100% of the collected funds will be donated to tech4COVID19.

In turn, the tech movement — that already has the support of more than 3,000 volunteers — will acquire medical equipment to protect the healthcare professionals on their fight against the pandemic.

Most of the auctions will be online until Sunday — take a look here.

Everyone’s support is fundamental to stop this pandemic.
